Fluorite in Quartz









Here is another crystal of quartz with fluorite inclusions, from the same locality as the other crystal. This crystal, however, has had the natural faces polished to ease the viewing of the fluorite inclusions within. These fluorites are clearly octohedral when viewed under slight magification. The quartz crystal is approximately an inch tall.
