Pyrolusite

Very fine, hairlike crystals of pyrolusite. These crystals are so fragile that a gust of wind could break them apart. When touched with the finger, they leave a nasty black mark behind. Utmost care must be taken with samples like this! The whole sample measures about an inch and a half long.
