Orpiment

Yellowish orange, slightly weathered crystals of Orpiment. Orpiment is an arsenic mineral that is sensistive to sunlight, degrading rapidly to a powder over time. Orpiment must be stored in a dark, temperature controlled location to prevent crystal degridation, so it is not display friendly. This crystal cluster is about an inch tall and comes from Hunan Province, China. (Thanks for the sample, D!)
