Anhydrite
Most anhydrite is found as massive chunks of aggrigate rock, not usually displaying crystals. Here is an example of crystaline anhydrite with a nice little tower of calcite growing beside it to the left. Anhydrite means 'without water,' as anhydrite is dehydrated gypsum. The fan of anhydrite is approximately 2 inches tall and comes from Chihuahua, Mexico.
